Nin[]
The Continent of Nin on Gaearth. The Ekvatora Mountains separate the civil war torn Northlands from the unified Southlands. The Borderlands lie at the westernmost reaches of the Northlands, protected by the "Spines" a small north-reaching range noted for its extremely tall mountains, the largest of which, Mt Killington reaches nearly six miles high.
The hand drawn map of Nin was done around 2015ish. Since, I have been working on a regularly updateable Digital version which I hope someday will allow folks to click on a location and head to a wiki page with details. It's good to dream, right?
The Borderlands[]
Approaching the The Spines, the range that separates the Borderlands from the Northlands, with Mt. Killington in the distance. In truth, this is Mt. Fitz-Roy in Patagonia, Argentina. I use it as a reference sketch when describing the Borderlands and Killington, as well as images form the Dolomites in Italy.
Keep Killington[]
About as close a real-life stand-in for Killington Keep as one could hope. In truth, this is Spis Castle in Slovakia and I highly recommend going down a rabbithole: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spi%C5%A1_Castle
